Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has come out to support President Uhuru Kenyatta in the recent war against corruption.
Wetangula, through his Twitter account, offered rare support to the head state's efforts aimed at getting rid of corruption in the public sector.
He praised Uhuru's move to dismiss several state officers for fresh vetting.
"President Uhuru keep up the war against corruption. Turn on the heat in every direction: land, maize, NYS, everywhere," he tweeted.
This comes after President Uhuru ordered all head of procurement in ministries to step aside and undergo fresh vetting.
During the Madaraka Day celebrations, President Uhuru stated that officials will be subjected to a polygraph test and lifestyle audits.
Currently, over 30 individuals are behind bars over the Sh8 billion scandal at the National Youth Service.
