Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula now says Raila Odinga is no longer leader of opposition following the handshake.
On March, Raila joined hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta in unexpected move that has since caused jitters from certain quarters.
And on Friday in Nyamira, Wetangula also accused Raila of betrayal adding that he should exit politics in 2022.
"Raila is not the opposition leader and time has come for him to exit from the scene. He has betrayed us and we can't be hoodwinked by him anymore.
"All I know is that he is now in Jubilee and that is not negotiable. He should now leave young people to handle our issues," he said.
For weeks now, Wetangula has been pushing Raila's exit from politics a move that led to ODM's decision to respond.
Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said Wetangula's support was subject to Raila's influence adding that the Bungoma senator does not control voting population.
