Ford Kenya party boss Moses Wetangula has assured the party’s aspirants eyeing for various elective seats across the country that the party will not favour any candidate in the nomination exercise

Wetangula said only those candidates who have no political rivals in the party will be handed direct tickets.

The Bungoma senator guaranteed aspirants who will lose to clinch the party tickets at the nominations that they would be accommodated in Nasa government if the alliance would take over power.

“Only one person will win in the nominations for a particular seat. For those who will lose, we shall have some positions for you once the NASA government is formed,” Wetang’ula said, Tuesday.

The Nasa principal who spoke in Sirende ward after commissioning Sh6.8million for classrooms, urged those who will be defeated at the nominations to support the party.

The party’s nominations are set to kick off from April 13 to 26 with Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa being the only unopposed candidate in the party.
