Bungoma senator Moses Wetang’ula has revealed the first thing that NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga will do after ascending to power. Speaking to coast residents in Taita Taveta County, Wetang’ula said that the mining problem is the first thing NASA will sort out after August 8.
“In the first ten minutes upon ascension to power (in 1998) Obama signed the Guantanamo Bay Bill into law. When Raila gets into office, the first thing he will do is sign the Minerals Bill,” said Senator Wetang’ula as quoted by the Star.
He lamented about yhe level of corruption in government. According to Wetang’ula, there is enough money to fund primary and secondary education btu it is beign stolen by Jubilee.
“The money being stolen through corruption is enough to cater for the education of every Kenyan child right from primary to high school,” he added.
NASA running mate Kalonzo Musyoka faulted the labor strikes that have rocked the current administration. He also said the government Unga is a campaign tool for Jubilee.
“We have teachers, doctors and nurses striking. Now we see them going out of the way to ‘bribe’ voters through the subsidized unga. If you get any product with the GoK symbol, it is written ‘not for sale’. Meaning it is sopposed to be given for free,” Musyoka said as quoted by the Star.
