An agitated Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula on Friday snubbed a phone call by his coalition boss, an ODM insider has revealed.
Following Wetangula's ouster as Senate Minority Leader, NASA principals met at a Karen club on Friday morning where the issue was broadly discussed in Raila Odinga's absence.
But a call from Raila in which he distanced himself from the ouster, orchestrated by his ODM did not end well when Wetangula refused to speak to him.
"I can confirm that Raila did call Kalonzo Musyoka where he asked to speak to Wetangula who instead refused to talk to him," said the insider who spoke in confidence.
He added: "Raila wanted Wetangula to accompany him to Kisii for a funeral but the latter, through Kalonzo refused on grounds that he was going to Isiolo."
Technically, Wetangula remains the Minority Leader until the NASA coalition formally elects Siaya senator James Orengo as his replacement.
In the recent twist of events, the ODM party, which is said to be behind the series of coups, is said to be targeting other Wiper, Ford Kenya and ANC leaders in parliament.
