The Bungoma senator plans to open 47 offices in each of the available counties as he begins bracing himself for the looming 2022 General Elections showdown.

His aim is to propagate his agenda and make sure that his party has the required support come 2022.

He felt betrayed following NASA chief Raila Odinga’s move to agree to work with the president despite also taking an otherwise illegal oath on January 30.

The handshake, the other NASA principals also say, was not something they planned and that Raila took it without consulting them.

ANC chief Musalia Mudavadi also took the fight to Raila’s own backyard Bondo as the party expressed its desire to have Mudavadi take the country’s top seat in 2022.

“We want to bring everybody on board that is why we are getting to the grassroots to ensure a win for party’s Presidential candidate Mudavadi,” said Ms Agnes Barasa who is the chairperson of Kakamega County’s women league.

It remains to be seen how the build up to the 2022 General Elections shape up with controversial statements already being made and leaders clashing as early as four years before.
