Kakamega senator Bony Khalwale has dismissed claims that CORD co- principals Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka have been sidelined in the formation of National Super Alliance (NASA)
The flamboyant senator was speaking after it emerged that Raila Odinga was only accompanied by ANC party leader Musalia Mudavati in his tour of Tharaka Nithi County.
“Ford Kenya will surely be of the National Super Alliance (NASA), that you be assured,” he said during an interview with NTV.
Khalwale, who is a ally of Wetangula reiterated that they were aware of the ongoing activities towards the formation of NASA contrary to speculations that they were sidelined.
“This is an opposition matter and as Ford Kenya, we are part of the negotiations. I want to assure Kenyans that we will give them a ripe deal that will rescue the nations," he added.
The opposition alliance is expected to be in place by February 2017 to wrestle Jubilee Party under the stewardship pf President Uhuru Kenyatta.
