Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula has criticized the current leadership over the collapse of various industries in different parts of the nation.
Wetangula, Bungoma senator, said that the Jubilee government has shown clearly that is not ready to support economic growth of this nation while citing the collapse of different industries citing Nzoia and Mumias Sugar companies.
The senator, who was speaking at the Bukhungu Stadium on Saturday, “Nzoia and Mumias Sugar companies are on their knees. Pan Paper was sold to a private investor. It is not also working as expected,” said Wetangula as quoted by Nation.
The senator, who is defending her seat, also said that the Jubilee government has been making false promises to the people of this nation, adding that it does not deserve another term.
“During the burial of former Housing Minister Soita Shitanda, Jubilee promised to tarmac the 51-kilometre Kakamega-Webuye road. This is yet to happen,”h e added.
During the rally, leaders of the opposition showed united of purpose as they seek to take over leadership in August.
The leaders urged the electorate to turn out in large numbers to ensure that Raila becomes the next President of this nation. This is the first rally NASA has held in Western after Raila was cleared to contest for Presidency.
