Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula will on Sunday take his presidential campaigns to Nyamira County, former Kitutu Masaba MP Mwancha Okioma has revealed.
Wetangula will open the party’s offices at Magwagwa ward before addressing a series of rallies across the county.
“I am pleased to urge all Ford Kenya supports to join me in welcoming our party leader on Sunday at Magwagwa. He will address a series of rallies across the county,” Okioma said in his Whatsap post at Okioma for Governor Group.
During the visit, Wetangula will meet a host of party grassroots delegates at Nyamira town where he is scheduled to receive defectors from other parties.
“Grassroots leaders will meet the party leader in Nyamira. We will discuss a number of strategies to popularize our party,” he added.
Nyamira County is predominantly ODM zone and has received Wetangula’s co-principal Raila Odinga in more than four occasions this year.
