Top CORD leader, Moses Wetangula on Tuesday stepped in to contain the raging rivalry between Ford-Kenya and ODM.
Wetangula joined the presidential bid and is expected to launch it officially at Masinde Muliro Gardens in Kakamega Saturday, 2 April 2017.
Cord leaders also met to deliberate upon the state of affairs in the nation and to come up with solutions to the various challenges facing Kenya as all.
“All CORD elected leaders on various part of Kenya are invited to the event which will be in Kakamega," said Raila Odinga.
It will be a CORD affair convened by a joint coalition to be led by senators, James Orengo, Johnstone Muthama and Simiyu Eseli.
Coalition leader Raila Odinga is still expected by his people to be the CORD flag bearer come the 2017 polls.
They were speaking at Capitol Hill office and they called upon all their supporters to ensure that they stand along CORD until they win.
