Embattled Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula now says he will not attend a retreat called by NASA senators to discuss his fate, adding that he is no longer interested to lead them.
Last week, Wetangula was unceremoniously ousted as Senate Minority Leader and his position taken by Siaya Senator James Orengo.
In an interesting twist of events on Sunday, Wetangula accused Raila of orchestrating his ouster adding that he will not allow NASA leadership to belittle him.
"I attended Thursday's meeting and Raila watched senators abuse me. He did nothing a confirmation that he is a ware of what is happening.
"It will be pointless for me to attend the retreat and I am no longer interested in Senate leadership. He is free to take it with his ODM party," he told reporters in Bungoma.
But even with his latest U-tern, the ODM wing seems to have vowed not to surrender the position, which Oremgo insists he will not let go.
At a funeral in Siaya on Saturday, Orengo assured his supporters that he will continue serving as Senate Minority Leader.
