Simiyu was responding to the ongoing differences between NASA coalition's ODM AND Ford Kenya parties over ousting Bungoma Senator, NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula as Senate Minority Leader and be replaced by ODM's Siaya senator James Orengo.

Below us what Eseli said as communicated by the party:

"The issue of the ouster will have to be dealt with our respective party organ's however the issue about Party leader Sen. Moses Wetangula.

I think it's the height of disrespect, especially with words that were uttered by the members of the ODM party which in my view, it was uncalled for, because in a situation like that, if they really felt they needed to get Wetangula out of the position as coalition partners, they would have called a meeting and then we deliberate on the matter.

But for now we are going to have our NEC PG on Tuesday which I believe will come out with a way forward on our future relationship in NASA.

The removal of Wetangula based on the numbers doesn't conform with the coalition agreement that we signed. In fact by the disrespectful way they did it, it's a signal perhaps they are tired of being in the coalition.

As you have heard from the ODM SG himself calling our parties little parties. Such disrespectful language, in a situation like that when partners show outright disrespect, I think it's time for divorce.

And with the utterances from our partner, it's clear that they don't need us any more. In my view, the right thing they could do is leave without all this acrimony.

NASA exists for reasons and if they feel the reasons no longer exist they may just leave".
