Moses Wetangula has challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta to initiate probe on his Deputy William Ruto over land grabbing saga.
Ruto has been on spot for not more than once for allegedly engaging in unprecedented land grabbing cases noticeably that of Lang’ata Primary in Nairobi.
And in response to arrest threats on opposition leader Raila Odinga, Wetangula accused Jubilee administration of administering selective justice to Kenyans.
“I do not see any crime when Raila tells locals to protect their lands and that is a fundamental right,” he said in reference to Odingas sentiments that Maasai community should not sell their land.
The Bungoma senator added: “If there is a person Uhuru should arrest is Ruto. It is on record that he is a land grabber and nothing has ever been done to him.”
And in his defense, Odinga claimed his remarks targeted low income earners that were being hoodwinked by brokers to sell land at cheap rates.
The NASA team was in Kajiado barely a week after touring the region, amid pressure to have Odinga arrested by Jubilee administration.
