Wetangula who spoke as he addressed a press conference at his office in Nairobi recounted how Murkomen called Supreme Court Judges names when the country's highest court nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta's election victory after the August 8 general election.
"'Young people' like Murkomen don't even have respect for institutions in this country," he said.
"Institutions must be respected. You heard them call [Chief Justice David] Maraga names after the court ruling yet it was the same court that handed them victory in 2013."
On September 1 when the Supreme Court nullified Uhuru's election win, the head of state and his Deputy William Ruto addressed a rally at Nairobi's Muthurwa market where they referred to Supreme Court Judges as Wakora (thugs).
Senior Jubilee politicians including Parliament Majority Leader Aden Duale and Murkomen followed suit in a series of rallies convened to belittle the court.
In one of the rallies, Murkomen compared the Chief Justice to a biased politician.
"When the political madness created by the Supreme Court will pass away, the Press statement issued by the Chief Justice will be studied and analysed again," Murkomen said in reference to a statement released by Maraga in the Judiciary's defense then.
Maraga won the hearts of majority Kenyans when he nullified Uhuru's election victory since it was the first of such in Africa.
