After President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga handshake, a strong political storm has currently been hitting the NASA warship.
The subsequent events have seen Bungoma senator and NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula being dropped as Senate minority leader and his position taken by Siaya Senator James Orengo.
Apparently, it seems the troubles are far from over for the Ford Kenya party as rumors have emerged that the Kiminini Member of Parliament and NASA member Hon. Chris Wamalwa might be ousted from the national parliament's deputy minority whip position.
This was brought to light by the Amani National Congress secretary general Barrack Muluka in the interview on Citizen Tv on Sunday 25th March 2018.
In that interview where Hon. Chris Wamalwa himself was present, Muluka stated, "My friend Chris Wamalwa here is cautious and fearful to comment candidly on the matters at hand because he knows he is next in line to be ousted after Moses Wetangula. It has already emerged that one ODM Member of Parliament is ganging up to move and replace him,"
Chris Wamalwa came out to defend himself, saying he was ready to stand against anyone planning such thing.
"I was not aware that such a thing was cooking somewhere but I can assure you my brother am more than ready to handle anyone who might raise against me in that line. You should know am preparing myself to be a governor in 2022 so I will move quickly to deal firmly with such individuals and then concentrate on my bigger role ahead,"
