Bungoma Senator and Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula has challenged his Opposition alliance NASA co-principals not go separate ways even as the August polls draw nigh.
Speaking on Wednesday in the backdrop of another impending retreat next week Monday, the legislator urged the Opposition leaders to remain united within the outfit, noting that it is the only way the alliance can wrestle power from the Jubilee administration.
“I’m urging my brothers Raila, Kalonzo and Mudavadi that in this retreat we are attending, we must come out clearly. Don’t let down Kenyans. We must come up with a win-win situation,” he said.
He further dismissed reports of a looming fallout within the coalition.
“That Nasa is divided is a figment of some people’s imagination. We are together and we will remain so to the bitter end,” he added.
The Opposition is yet to settle on a presidential flag bearer, with the subject reportedly threatening the unity of the alliance.
All the four principals who include: Raila Odinga (ODM), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) have expressed interest in the NASA ticket.
