[Photo|Nasa coalition]National Super Alliance (Nasa), principals are set to appear in court as witnesses, on Monday September 18.They would appear in court, to defend Simon Lonyia, a police constable attached to co-principal, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula's security team.He was charged in a Nairobi court late last month, with causing disturbance and resisting arrest at the Supreme Court buildings.He was accused of creating disturbance which would likely affect peace by pushing Nairobi Central Police Division OCPD, Robinson Thuku, Monday August 28, 2017The youthful officer was also accused of resisting arrest by pushing his senior, in company of other officers.During the altercation as he tried to defend Wetangula who alongside other Nasa principals had been blocked from accessing Supreme Court, Lonyia was arrested, disarmed and barred from accessing the court.He was later recalled from the senator and allegedly dismissed from the police service.

His case comes up on Monday. I/ other Nasa leaders will be his defence witnesses," he tweeted, Friday.
