Leaders of the National Super Alliance (NASA) took their campaigns to Ukambani where they preached a message of change.
Ford Kenya leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has asked the Kamba community to snub President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to vote for NASA team under the leadership of former prime minister Raila Amolo Odinga.
Wetangula, who has been cleared to defend his post, said that the current government has not initiated most of the projects it pledged during the campaign period.
The senator emphasized that residents of this region will only realize change if they elect NASA Leaders.
“Jubilee will not help you. What has the government done in Ukambani region for the last four years? What efforts has Jubilee done to initiate the Konza City project? They are now employing propaganda to scare chiefs that if Odinga wins he will sack them, which is not true,” said the senator, as quoted by Citizen.
The sentiments of the senator were backed by former vice President Stephen Musyoka who predicted the downfall of leaders who left Wiper including Governor Alfred Mutua. The lawmaker was also accompanied by Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga, Governor Isaac Ruto and other leaders.
