Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to hold dialogue with the National Super Alliance (NASA).
According to Wetangula, dialogue is the only option of cooling down the political temperatures in the country.
The Ford Kenya leader who was speaking in Sirisia on Saturday stated that the country has problems and the only way out was to sit down and seek a political solution.
“We want to cool down the political temperatures in the country which if not handled well will escalate into something else, Uhuru Kenyatta has no option but just this. Kenyans are murmuring and wondering the direction the country is going and unfortunately Uhuru does not see. This means he is not fit to be President,” said Wetangula.
Wetangula further condemned the state over the recent crackdown on opposition figures.
“We can’t have a government which deprives leaders of their security details and alleges everything was going on well,”Wetangula said.
