Bungoma Senator and Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula has pledged that the party will conduct free, fair and credible primaries.
Speaking on Tuesday in Trans-Nzoia County, Wetang'ula further said that no candidate will be issued with a direct nomination certificate, noting that only those unopposed for the party ticket will receive direct nomination.
He also challenged those who will lose during the primaries to back the winners during the August polls.
“Only one person will win in the nominations for a particular seat. For those who will lose, we shall have some positions for you once the NASA government is formed,” he said.
The party's primaries are slated for April 13 to 26.
He called on the residents to back the Opposition alliance NASA during the forthcoming polls, saying it is the only political outfit that represents the aspirations and dreams of Kenyans.
