Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery has cautioned Cord coalition over their calls to storm the IEBC offices every week in their quest to send the commissioners home, warning that the security forces will deal firmly with them.
In a statement Sunday, Nkaissery warned the opposition that there is enough teargas to halt their mission should they cause chaos and interrupt peace.
"We want to warn them that there is enough teargas to deal with them," he said.
Cord has called for countrywide demonstrations to the electoral body offices every week in their continued call to have the commission disbanded before the 2017 polls.
The coalition says Kenyans have lost confidence in the electoral body claiming it lacks the capacity to hold free and fair elections in future.
Police dispersed Cord demonstrators who stormed the IEBC offices two weeks ago including Cord principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula.
