The MCAs led by the deputy speaker of Machakos county Assembly, who is the MCA of Ikombe ward Nathaniel Nganga, said that some of the completed, ongoing and also pending development projects launched and established by the Governor were never in the budgets the County Assembly passes.

"The English men said that one can fool some people some times but cannot fool all the people all the time. We are done with Mutua's drama and I am the people of Machakos have seen it with their own eyes and will vote Mutua out office next year," said Nganga.

Nganga said that Mutua has blocked the issuing of CDF money to only those MCA who do not have close political consensus with him.

"As one of the people who represent our people in passing the budget, I know the budget provides enough funds to establish really big and solid projects which can be of large benefits to the people, but the projects that Mutua has been establishing are so liquid, very little benefit to the people and only tries to blindfold the people by how fast he establishes them," added MCA Nganga.
