Former IEBC Commissioner Roselyn Akombe on Sunday spoke on the electoral body’s preparations for October 26 presidential election.
Addressing the media after rowdy youth attacked Returning Officers from Nyanza region, Dr Akombe said she cannot single-handedly pre-empt whether there will be elections or no elections next week Thursday.
"We will be forced to collect public views and consult internally to determine whether there will be elections or no elections," she said.
The former IEBC commissioner said that the no election call by National Super Alliance (Nasa) leaders is critical, and required public consultations to identify the way forward.

Dr Akombe, who fled Kenya to the United States, confirmed that only two presidential candidates (Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga) are in the KEIMS kit for the October elections.
"During the elections, our focus will not be on KIEMS kit but on form 34As that will contain all candidates," she said on Sunday
