National Majority Leader Aden Duale has said that Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga will face more embarrassments if he does not retire from the political arena.
Speaking to the press, Duale said that Raila is politically dead after he took an oath of office. Duale said that the decision of the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate to take an oath of office is unconstitutional.
"Raila Odinga finally buried himself politically on Tuesday after taking the illegal presidential oath and he should retire from politics and save himself from more embarrassments," the Garissa Township MP said.
The Garissa lawmaker also congratulated Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka for skipping the event. Kalonzo has, however, maintained that he is still strong in the alliance despite what transpired on Tuesday.
"We talked with my colleagues Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, and when it was clear we couldn’t make it, we asked Raila to proceed, we are very united. Jubilee remains illegitimate government, and we will do everything possible to get electoral justice," he stated.
