Deputy President William Ruto is fighting  off many fires as he seeks to rise to power in 2022.The dream of Ruto becoming the President will be as good as dead if President Uhuru Kenyatta loses to Cord Leader Raila Amolo Odinga in the August polls.

The leaders aligned to NASA will not allow to Ruto to rise to power after Raila’s term. The Deputy President will have to seek refuge elsewhere, which will be an uphill task on his side.

The NASA government is likely to unearth more scandals in which Ruto has been mentioned.  Raila has said it time and again that he will not jail Uhuru and Ruto if he ascends to power but things might change along the way as much as the move is likely to spark violence in the nation.

The Jubilee party is also receiving a challenge from the independent candidates. The leaders have been accusing the DP of frustrating them during the campaign period.

Recently he asked  Governor Jackson Mandago’s biggest challenger, Zedekiah Bundotich Buzeki to step aside for him ahead of the general election but he declined the call.

The Deputy President has to stand strong as different leaders from within the bigger Jubilee family to his own Rift Valley backyard wage war against him ahead of the election date.
