NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga who will be making his fifth attempt at the presidency on October 17, has been advised on how to win the forthcoming poll.
High Court lawyer and advocate Nelson Havi says that for Raila to win, he must change strategy."Raila, change strategy to win. Purge and expand your secretariat and strategy teams beyond ethnic bases and ODM Party. Tap on professionals in all NASA affiliated parties and outside.""Volunteer soldiers deliver better than paid ones. Pick the voter registers, adopt ‘nyumba kumi' approach and reach out to voters in your strongholds. Woe them, door to door," Havi says in an opinion piece published by the Star on Tuesday. He also says that a parallel tallying centre 'must be publicly unveiled and guarded day and night by supporters'.He adds: "Credible agents in all polling stations and constituency tallying centres must be recruited, trained and equipped. Equipment should be linked to the tallying centre and capable of monitoring agents from compromise. Transmit and publicize results real time after counting."
