Cord co-principals, Kalonzo Musyoka and Bungoma senator, Moses Wetangula held a meeting at Yatta on Sunday.
The two have shown interest in vying for the presidency in 2017 on a Cord ticket but according to the observation, Raila could be a preferred candidate to carry the Cord flag.
The meeting held by the two could be an indication that they have plans ahead of the 2017 general elections.
Kalonzo posted on his Twitter account on Sunday, "in a consultation meeting with my brother and Cord co-principal, Wetangula at my farm in Yatta.Blessed Sunday," read the post.
The two leaders have been suggested to be Cord's flag bearer in 2017 but ODM leader, Raila Odinga seems resistant to dropping his plans to become next president for Kalonzo and Wetangula to lead.
The question that is yet to be answered is whether their meeting could be a plan to ditch Cord?
