According to Ruto, the opposition had failed to identify who would be their flag-bearer in the 2017 elections and thus NASA was just a scapegoat.

"The opposition is busy mulling over NASA. Is it a group, party or NGO? The opposition is undecided in their political matters and that is very evident," said Ruto.

The DP made the remarks in Igembe North constituency on Sunday where he called on the people to shun the opposition for exhibiting confusion in their political matters.

Ruto further said the government was committed to working for Kenyans and the clear confusion on the flag-bearer's position in the opposition camp was a clear indicator the Jubilee administration was going to win the 2017 polls.

"The opposition has failed to settle on one presidential candidate. This confusion is going to work to our advantage and thus a win for us come 2017," Ruto added.
