Just a week after the Mashujaa celebrations at Machakos, Governor Mutua has confessed why he didn't recognize his friend, Makueni governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana during his speech.
Mutua has confessed that he wasn't aware of Kibwana's presence until he had finished addressing wananchi.
"It's unfortunate I was not aware he was present when I was addressing wananchi because it would have been wonderful to have had him say a few words," said Machakos Governor.
Mutua was speaking this after hosting a special lunch to the 514 local primary school children and their 12 teachers who had a wonderful drill during Mashujaa day like using their bodies to draw a Kenyan map.
The governor also took a step to thank all Kenyans who made the first Mashujaa day celebrations outside Nairobi a great success congratulating greatly the military for an exemplary display and formation.
