During his lifetime Ntimama defended the Maasai community.

He represented the community fully. Politicians from the Gusii region should follow Ntimama's political tactics to represent the Gusii community rather than forming a unity movement that will subdivide the locals politically.

Kisii politicians should be influential leaders and should instead seek opportunities from elders before they claim to be spokesmen and women to the community.

William Ole Ntimama never at any given time let down his community. He negotiated for the rights of the Maasai community. He devoted his time as a leader to serve the community. But the way politicians from Gusii community are doing, cannot take the community forward politically.

Forming Omogusii unity will not be an indication that the leaders are devoted to serving the community. At times they should stand firm, negotiate for top government job allocations rather than being given small ministries, unlike other communities.
