Billionaire businessman John Harum Mwau, despite his indictment by the US in drug trafficking related case, hit international   headlines at least positively for the first time.

For the second time, Mwau wants the Supreme Court nullify Uhuru Kenyatta's victory on grounds that October repeat elections were not conducted in conformity with the constitution.

Britain's Daily Mail said "Kenyan politician files petition challenging poll results" adding that Kenyatta had conceded that his victory could be challenged for the second time.

"He contests inclusion of a minor candidate in the re-run, who had been declared bankrupt  and argues that IEBC failed to conduct nominations prior to the elections," it stated.

British Broadcasting Cooperation said Mwau, a former Kilome MP, seeks nullification of the Presidential repeat poll on grounds of irregularity and illegalities.

"This renders the elections held on October 26 invalid as they were conducted in an unconstitutional, irregular and illegal manner."

Previously, Mwau has been at loggerheads with US authorities over drug trafficking claims and is reportedly barred from travelling to  Washington DC.

Should his petition sail, Uhuru would suffer a second similar fate after a similar petition by opposition leader Raila Odinga went through.
