Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's recent meeting has caused political ripples in the country.
The duo's meeting has raised speculations that they want to form an alliance before 2022 elections.
Both Mutua and Moi have expressed their interest in the presidency in the forthcoming polls.
Although Mutua is fighting to retain his seat, he remains one of the forces to reckon with in the entire nation.
The second term governor has also been on the forefront in the fight against corruption.
He has been pushing for senior government officials to undergo lifestyle audit in the wake of several scandals.
“Those stealing are near you and are maligning your name through their actions. Deal with them ruthlessly and show Kenyans there are no sacred cows in your administration,” Mutua told President Kenyatta.
The push has seen him attract hatred and love from different factions.
He has, however, maintained that he will not look back in the fight to make Kenya a better place.
The Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement leader has said that he has what it takes to become the next President of this nation.
He is set to lock horns with Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and Deputy President William Ruto when that time comes.
