TIBIM, is a word that has received a lot of traction during this political year as politicians across the country use the word in addressing Kenyans in their rallies.
The word is most common with opposition coalition NASA.
The word traces its origin to Nairobi University student leader Babu Owino who first spoke of it during a public political rally.
Many Kenyans have been wondering what is the real meaning of the word Tibim, or is it an acronym.
According to Mr Owino Tibim is basically a word that hold revolutionary meaning.
"Tibim is a Greek word meaning revolution, political revolution," he said during an interview on Citizen TV.
The word has become so huge that artists are even coming up with songs using it in their poetic lines, mark you its not only political songs but gospel music too.
However, during NASA's political rally in Nakuru on Sunday, Siaya county senator James Orengo also surprised many when he termed Tibim as an acronym but not a word as Babu said some few weeks ago.
"TIBIM in english means together in building an irresistible movement," he said.
Forget all the political theatrics , we are yet to understand the meaning of the word tibim and with the charged political atmosphere in the country, be prepared to learn many meanings of the word as politicians woo voters.
