When I was a little child, I always admired the idea of being a celebrity.

First of all, what is a celeb?

A celeb is a famous person due to a certain particular reason such as music, politics, and richness.

Celebrity comes with advantages that make everyone admire them such as getting special treatment wherever they go and they are given special attention.

Being a celebrity simply means you are richer and you have enough to make you more famous.

Take for instance our politicians and musicians moving around in fancy cars.

Everyone knows celebrities are rich, yes, they are rich!

Celebs are recognised wherever they go at any time.

They are also given special attention and treatment than you as a common person would be given.

In fact, they are always given the first priority even if a common person is better qualified.

Most opportunities are given to the celebrities since people listen to them better.

Advertisements, rallies and many things that need the attention of the public are given to celebrities.

Even with all the good things that the celebrities enjoy, there is always the bad side of it.

Being a celeb means that your life is no longer private.

Family, activities and much stuff you do are always monitored by the media.

You actually have nowhere to hide!

Being a celebrity means that you cannot do what an average person can do.

One cannot just walk to any supermarket on the road and shop.

They are forced to live in their little-secluded world where no one is bothering them with selfies, autographs or too much attention. That sounds boring.

You get a lot of ridicules and as usual, you have too many stalkers monitoring every move you make.

Any little mistake you do spreads like viral pandemics.

As usual the good go underground but the bad things flow fast!

Being a celebrity, one expects to be judged constantly.

Some say something about your life that even you are not aware of.

Bloggers, magazines, newspapers and social media are always on your toes.

Judge your personalities, bodies, habits and a lot more.

The more you become a celebrity, the lesser you become secure.

That is why the celebrities are always accompanied by heavy security all over because they don’t trust anyone.

Lastly, when you become a celebrity you make a lot of fake friends who just want to be associated with you and nothing more.
