Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho has asked Kenyans not to disrespect religious leaders and clergy. 

In a short communication posted on his social media account, the ODM deputy governor urged that the religious leaders should not be included in music videos. 

It is however not yet clear if he was referring to a certain video, or clergy. 

Below is Joho's message, posted, Thursday: 

 

''Dear Friends, while I deeply appreciate and value all the support you have accorded to me, I humbly and most profusely request you not to disrespect religious leaders and clergy by including them in music videos. 

 Thank you and may the Almighty bless you all.''
