Joho who is ODM's deputy party leader, said the party ran on an election platform of equity, justice and fairness.

"While we are committed to national unity, these issues must remain top on our agenda as a party," he said during the party's NEC and Parliament group meeting at Flamingo restaurant, Shanzu on Monday.

"There must be equity in land distribution, economic fair play and equal representation in government. As a party we maintain that if to achieve this the country will require constitutional amendments to succeed, we will stand by that," said the ODM governor.

The meeting was chaired by party leader Raila Odinga to tackle housekeeping issues.

He said coast had become a host to top government leaders to scramble over land and mineral resources.

"We put on notice all the corruption cartels; we shall not sit down and look as greedy people move around with high appetite for natural resources and land meant for the poor."
