Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho will have to ensure his new Cabinet represents the face of the county which is cosmopolitan.According to the Star, Joho is expected to name his executive members with regards to politics, religion and ethnicity to realise the delicate balancing.The governor is said to be consulting widely before naming his ministers.The county boss is expected to name his ministers this week, and is likely to retain the executives who served during his first term as the positions were not advertised, the daily added.The nominees might have a walk-over during their vetting since the ODM, where Joho is the deputy party leader, has the majority in the county assembly.In 2013, Joho’s administration comprised executives from the Luo, Somali, Kikuyu, Kalenjin, Mijikenda and Swahili communities.Richard Chacha, the county director of communication said Tuesday he’s not sure who is on Joho’s list but added that it will be out soon.
