Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has said that he will hold talks with his Machakos Counterpart Dr Alfred Mutua to back Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka for Presidency in the forthcoming general polls. 

If Mutua agrees to make a U-turn, which is not a far-fetched dream in the political arena, former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti ambition of unseating the incumbent county boss will be dead. 

Mutua has been considered among the governor’s who are likely to retain their seats in the August polls because of his performance scoreboard. 

Wavinya Ndeti is banking on the support of Kalonzo to rise to power. Mutua will automatically displace her if he opts to join Kalonzo’s camp ahead of the next general polls. 

The Machakos county boss has gained popularity across the nation, thanks to Maendeleo Chap Chap. Mutua and Ndeti are no equals when it comes to Ukambani and national politics. 

The former MP will have to reconsider her next political step if Mutua forgets the best for the sake of the people of Ukambani. The governor has hinted on backing Kalonzo is he is named NASA flag bearer. 

His reunion with Kalonzo will change the political situation of Ukambani and the entire nation.
