Wiper Democratic Movement - Kenya leader Kalonzo Musyoka has hailed his ODM party counterpart, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga saying he was the ever humble and understanding politician he has ever met.

Kalonzo who is Odinga's deputy in the NASA coalition, said Odinga has been putting lives and interests of Kenyans ahead first before embarking on an political journey.

Musyoka who unsuccessfully vied for the presidency in 2007 alongside Odinga and Mwai Kibaki, said Kibaki, a former president, rigged out Odinga to retain his presidency for a second-term.

"He 2007, he (Odinga) was rigged out and I also made it look like I was as well rigged out. In 2013, we were rigged out and also in 2017. He has been patient all this while, I've never seen a patient leader such as Raila. He is a very good man," said Kalonzo.

Speaking during People's Assembly convention, Nyanza chapter in Homa Bay town, Kalonzo said NASA was out to see cases of rigging in elections are forgotten.

He said NASA was ready for talks with Jubilee since Raila thinks well for Kenyans, but President Uhuru Kenyatta declined and so NASA was not looking back again.

During the convention on Saturday, Odinga, Nasa co-principal Musalia Mudavadi and several other leaders were present.
