Maalim argues that Raila's action was the highest level of betrayal, adding that he (Raila) does not value his principals.

Maalim said that Raila's action is a confirmation that NASA is completely 'dead'.

"It is shameful that Raila could secretly plan to meet the President and completely fail to inform his co-principals who are equal partner's in the NASA coalition," he said as quoted by a local daily.

Maalim also hit out at ODM politicians who have remained silent on Raila- Uhuru meeting.

He said that if it was Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi or Moses Wetangula meeting Uhuru, they will be now under sharp criticism.

The former Lagdera MP said that it is now time for affiliate parties to pull out of NASA and go on their own.

"I don't think this kind of betrayal will keep the principal's together again because Raila's secret meeting with Uhuru put the last nail on NASA's coffin, " he added.

Maalim, who unsuccessfully contested for the Garissa Parliamentary seat in last year's polls, asked NASA supporters to move and wait for 2022.

He said that Raila's false promise of reforms will not happen in the near future.

Raila met with President Kenyatta on Friday where they pledged to burry their political hatchet and work together.

Their meeting continues to draw wide reactions with majority of politician's lauding them.

A section of opposition politician's are however raising reservation's with some terming the meeting as betrayal to NASA co-principal's and supporter's.

Raila's co- principal's on Friday confirmed that they were not privy to the meeting and are expected to issue a comprehensive statement on their way forward today.
