Controversial former Eldoret politician Jackson Kibor now says he will give only 10 acres of his land to his second wife Josephine Jepkoech after the court granted him a divorce.Speaking to the press outside the Eldoret court after the orders were issued to dissolve their 52-year old marriage, Kibor, 83, said he will now treat Jepkoech as one of his neighbours."I will set aside 10 acres of my land to her where she will live the remaining part of her life. I will process title deed for that land and built her a house there," said the jovial Kibor, Friday. He, however, promised to give his seven children the share of the land."We've divorced with her but the children are mine. They will get their shares," Kibor said. The second wife has been living in an 800-acre piece of land in Kipkabus, Uasin Gishu County.Kibor filed a divorce case last year accusing his second wife of desertion, cruelty and interfering with his ownership of an 800-acre piece of land in Kipkabus.

During the ruling that dissolved the 52-year-old marriage, Eldoret Chief Magistrate Charles Obulutsa said he could not give a direction on how the two will share the wealth after divorce as he has no information on what each owns.
