Popular Television personality Kanze Dena has lost her father Mr Harry Kitao who has been suffering from a terminal illness for a while now.
Mr Kitao passed on at Nairobi West hospital where he has been admitted for a while now and at some point even put on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
In an emotional Instagram message seen by Hivisasa, Ms Dena said that the legacy of her father will live on.
"Ni mnyonge moyo Wangu,.....Baba yangu tenda kwangu... ......Upendavyo.... Harry Stephens Kitao your legacy lives on....#thatseasonagain#onedayatatime#RIPBABA," read the message.
President Uhuru Kenyatta in a Twitter message on Sunday mourned the death of Mr Kitao saying that he will be remembered for his focus and zeal to improve his family, the community and the nation at large.
"It is with grief and a deep sense of loss that I learnt the death of Mr Harry Kitao Stephens and I convey my deep sympathies and heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives and friends," the president said on his Twitter account.
