It is usually shameful when a man in the society is seen being beaten by a woman. Even though such situations are rare they do happen in most of the society nowadays. What then makes a woman to beat a man? The head of the household for that matter.
This act usually demeans a man ego and masculinity devaluing his role as the provider in the household. As society keeps growing and things are quickly changing with a lot of emphasis given to the girl child, the boy child is seen to be at a disadvantage putting him under siege.Here are some of the reasons why men are just being beaten and they cannot open their mouth to defend themselves:
1. They have failed to provide their women their conjugal rights. Majority of the men with various stresses of life tend to over indulge in alcohol consumption which kills their sexual urge and libido. This eventually leads to poor performance hence thorough beating follows when the woman has had enough of withholding her urge for long.
2. They have failed to provide the basic needs of the household. Some men especially those who engage in excessive alcoholism, gambling and other societal vices tend to not provide their households with basic requirements making them being rendered useless as they cannot sustain their role leading to women beating them.
3. They were brought up in environment in which their roles were unknown. This is such an unusual remark but it usually occurs whereby women tend to have been empowered more than their male counterparts. Here you will find women even more educated and more mature than the man. So, if a man makes foolish decisions often, the woman just loses here grip and thoroughly beats the man.
