Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has eulogized the late Nyeri governor Wahome Gakuru as a hardworking and determined.Speaking on Saturday during the burial mass for the governor who died following a tragic road accident, Mandago said he worked with him during the campaigns for the October 26 repeat Presidential elections.Mandago was the team leader in one of the Jubilee Presidential campaigns team that traversed over 17 counties before the repeat poll.The vocal Jubilee governor asked Nyeri leaders to fully support the new governor, Mutahi Kahiga and assured that the council of governors will work with him."Gakuru will be remembered for the vision he had for not only Nyeri County but the country at large," Mandago said."As Council of governors we will work with Kahiga and I urge the leadership of this county to also fully support him and see that Gakuru's vision in developing Nyeri is attained," he added.
