Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that Former Kitui Senator David Musila and other leaders who visited President Uhuru Kenyatta did not tell him about the real state of affairs in Ukambani.

The NASA Presidential running mate said that the leaders have nothing to offer, adding that they are not telling President Uhuru Kenyatta the truth. Kalonzo, a former vice president, also said that the leaders went to State House because of their selfish interests.

“Those who went to State House went to receive some funds but they should tell the President that back home, things are terrible, “he said as quoted by Nation.

"There are no votes that they can deliver to Jubilee,” Mr Musyoka added.

The remarks of the lawmaker come after Musila pledged to rally the Kamba community behind President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the fresh polls.

The politician has said that the Kambas have no reason to back NASA in the fresh polls since Raila stands no chance of beating Uhuru when that time comes.

The former vice president team comprised of Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, Wavinya Ndeti, senators Mutula Kilonzo (Makueni) and Enoch Wambua (Kitui) among others.
