Nguna claims that Mutua’s disobedience to Kalonzo is the cause of the political woes he is apparently facing.

Speaking to journalists at Parliament Buildings on Wednesday,  Nguna said Mutua will not survive in politics if he does not seek Kalonzo’s forgiveness.

He said the Maendeleo Chap Chap leader betrayed Kalonzo’s trust when he ditched the Wiper party and launched attacks against the former Vice President.

“Kalonzo made Mutua the person he is today and unless he seeks forgiveness for the insults he hurled on the Wiper family, he will not succeed anywhere,” Nguna said.

Nguna said Mutua’s election nullification is a clear indication that he no longer have the support.

He noted that Mutua won the election in 2013 courtesy of Kalonzo and he cannot win any other without the former VP's support.

Mutua fell out with Kalonzo after the 2013 general election.

The Maendeleo Chap chap leader is now staring at plunging into political oblivion after the Court of Appeal nullified his election.

The embattled governor has appealed the ruling at Supreme Court.
