The NASA coalition has said it will put in place strict measures to ensure reduced levels of corruption in their government.
Saying during the launch of their manifesto on Tuesday evening, the principals led by Raila Odinga said they will not tolerate corruption in their government.
According to the principals, they will come up with Nasa Code of Conduct, which will ensure all elected or appointed officials under the coalition do not engage in corruption.
The officials will be required to disclose their financial interests upon appointment and take a moral and political responsibility for misconduct.
Their government will also look to block the officers from doing business with the government offices either directly or indirectly.
There will be no sacred cows. The Nasa coalition President will never get away with passing the buck to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission or the Judiciary,” the manifesto says.
The launch came a day after the Jubilee Party launched theirs, with the two leaders ready for a bruising battle as the days run down.
