The National Super Alliance (Nasa) principal Raila Odinga says the coalition will send at least 10 party agents to every polling station across the country in the forthcoming general election.

Raila revealed this during a meeting with representatives from Bunge la Mwananchi at Orange House, Nairobi.

The move is a strategy that Nasa is using to prevent rigging in the August polls.

“At every polling station, we will have a team of not less than 10 people. Every polling station must be manned and we must have somebody there whose telephone number is known at the secretariat for daily communication with the centre,” said Odinga, Tuesday.

The former premier reiterated the team would be assigned to persuade all eligible voters to participate in the electoral process.

“The team with the register of voters in the station will check who has voted and who has not. Those who have not will be brought to vote,” he added.

The Bunge la Mwananchi endorsed the ODM party boss for the Nasa presidential flag bearer.
