The newly appointed Moi University Vice-Chancellor Prof Isaack Kosgey has promised to revolutionize the institution to greater heights in his five years term in office.
The VC said he will follow in his predecessor footsteps by ensuring that all projects he started are completed on time.
“Our central person here is the student and we will work round the clock to ensure that they get quality and not quantity education. I will address the issues of missing marks and ensure students get their transcripts by the end of the term,” said Prof. Isaack Kosgey after taking over the mantle from the outgoing acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro, Wednesday.
“I want to see the institution doing things the right way by enhancing quality teaching on research and innovation, the institution should go in line with the big four agenda,” he added.
Prof Kosgey reiterated that he will ensure that the enrolment at the university which has decreased in the recent past is increased.
“We need to satisfy our students by offering quality services since they are our marketing tool and if they go due to poor services they will move with our students and make sure that the security of our students is not at risk,” he noted.
