Jubilee leaders in Wajir have promised to deliver more than 90 per cent of the vote to President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the fresh election.

The leaders said that they will start campaigning for the re-election of Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto on Saturday as he seeks to retain power when that time comes.

Led Eldas MP Adan Keynan, the leaders said that they will camp in different parts of the  region to ensure that President Kenyatta beats National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga during the fresh election.

“We we will crisscross the county to tell our people to vote for President Kenyatta in the October 17 polls,” Eldas MP Adan Keynan said, as quoted by Star.

The leaders were addressing members of the press alongside Governor Mohamed Abdi and Senator Abdullahi Ali in Wajir town.

President Uhuru and Ruto are banking on the North Eastern region to retain power following the nullification of the August Presidential. Both Uhuru and Raila have assured their supporters that they will clinch the seat with a huge margin.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) have been facing criticisms from different factions over their preparedness to organize the exercise.
